Context
An internal enterprise platform designed to help teams discover, interpret, and apply data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. I worked as a UX Researcher and Product Designer within a cross-functional, global team.
Problem
Users struggled to navigate complex data, understand where to start, and trust the insights presented. This resulted in friction, low confidence, and inconsistent adoption across teams.
Research
I conducted qualitative and quantitative UX research, including user interviews, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops, to understand user workflows, mental models, and decision-making behaviors.
Key Insights
• Users needed clearer structure and information hierarchy.
• Lack of context reduced trust in the data.
• Guided exploration was preferred over dense dashboards.
• Comparison was essential for confident decision-making.
Design
Research insights informed iterative improvements to information architecture, key flows, and mid- and high-fidelity wireframes. Designs were validated through ongoing usability testing in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Outcome
The redesigned experience improved clarity, navigation, and confidence when working with data. Teams were better supported in making informed decisions, and stakeholders gained alignment on user needs and future direction.
Learnings
Clear structure and contextual guidance are critical for building trust in data-heavy products. Continuous research and cross-functional collaboration were key to navigating complexity and delivering meaningful outcomes.
